Because of the cost we are looking at that as a last resort. However it's looking more and more like that. However it does not really solve the wifi issue unless we put a access point in each room of the house.

Hi Abi, S so the issue is going to be more than likely distance or walls. I don't know how far they can be apart from each other to actually work I would say right now they're about 20 ft apart but The one in question has three to four walls interior...
