My google doorbell (2nd gen wired) has worked fine for about 18 months.
However, it has suddenly switched to battery and no longer activates the
internal chime. Any obvious reasons for this?
Thanks, everything looks ok and mechanical chime works when I test with
wires. That’s the limit of my electrical knowledge so will have to get
it checked
Thanks for this, I’ve seen this guidance but find it a little ambiguous.
Perhaps the question is phrased better as: Is one of the intended uses
to be mounted outside where the doorbell will be regularly exposed to
rain?
