Alexa and E thermostat problem

Replaced my router/modem with a new Motorola MG7550. I connected my TV, phones, 2 laptops with the password on the bottom of the router. The E thermostat won't connect to Alexa. Found the network on the thermostat. The same one I used to connect ever...

Nest changes temps on its own

My E thermo keeps changing the temp once or twice a day on a/c. Can't get on internet, am hand adjusting for now. Need a newer router. Might be the issue for getting online. I cleared all the daily scheduling and it still does it.Thanks.
