OK, did a reset, said yes to hot water, turned Bacteria Prevention off successfully, icon no longer displayed but the thermostat thinks it now controls hot water, need to find out how to get rid of the hot water icon!

Yes I am in the UK and defintely 3rd generation. Have just checked and my other thermostat which controls the hot water does have the Bacteria Prevention option. Am guessing I need to enable hot water on the second thromostat to get the option, disab...

As mentioned in the original post, I followed this advise and I don't get the option to turn Bacteria Prevention off??
