I get audio but only one picture at a time from the video. Happening on both Chromecast devices

I was casting fine on both my Chromecast devices (I have 2) and on 2 different TV's. Then last night it just started to stream the audio and show one picture at a time like a slide show of the video. I rebooted my router, and the laptop, and restarte...

Using Apps directly from Chromecast and they keep going into Ambient Mode. How do I stop this?

So I have no idea if my selections at the top are correct. But I bought a Chromecast device, and from the Chromecast device...I installed Pluto TV. So no casting from a phone or web browser. And while I am watching Pluto TV it keeps going into Ambien...
