not really, resetting the device deletes all your settings. You have to setup the device all over again AND adjust your settings. So no, not much much faster

you can use android you just need an older version to change the name Version 2.32.1.5. from dec 10, 2020 is confirmed as working so give that a go

Likely related to the sonos lawsuit. Voice control of a different speaker does not work anymore due to Sonos patent
