Is it required to use the Home App to install a new Nest Learning
Thermostat? I wish to run the thermostat manually. Im retired and don’t
need the extra features.
I was told by G support that without a “C” wire wifi will drain the
internal battery quicker. I’ve had a nest e (for heat only) not hooked
to wifi that has been working fine for over 4yrs.
