I have 5 sealed in box original Google Homes that I never set up bought
directly from Google. Wondering if they will insta-brick like my other
did back in December.
This was a reply in the main thread about gen1 Homes bricking. Instead
of responding or allowing any discussion on it there, they decided to
move it out.I was hoping to get any feedback saying "We've corrected the
bad firmware and you should be safe....
If you're in the US, support is replacing units with new Nest Audio
devices. If outside the US, some have reported getting $25-35 Google
Store credits. Others have reported getting screwed.
