I have just had a new Worcester Bosch 1000 combi boiler installed and I cannot get the 2nd Generation Thermostat to switch on the heating. It is connected to the internet and says it is heating but does not actually turn the boiler on.Can anyone help...

Thank you so much for that tip, it is proving difficult to source a 2 nd generation heat link so that looks the way to go.I am in the UK.

Sorry I should have made it clear that the heat link was tested and it is not sending the current to the boiler. I am now trying to find a replacement heat link or to have it repaired if possible. If not, it looks like I will have to buy a new one.On...

I had someone look into the boiler and the terminals were as you said. They also worked on the heat link and it appears that the heat link is not sending any current to the boiler (?). They think the best link is defective.
