I just installed a refurbished Nest Learning Thermostat on the wall and
switched on the circuit breaker- but now the screen says “thermostat
shutting down” and attempts to restart after a couple of minutes with no
luck.
Thanks for the suggestion. It still failed installation.I replaced the
base plate and the thermostat booted and completed installation. I
really appreciate your assistance.
