I assume this problem is solely related to the transition from YouTube Kids to regular YouTube. For me, it all started when I couldn't get my child's YouTube to work; YouTube kept telling me to ask for a parent's help and to log in to families.youtub...

I have the exact same problem. I factory reset my Google TV and now when I try to add my child I'm stuck in a similar loop.
