NOT agreeing with you at all. Could have left the functionality intact.
Not trusting them in the future to do the same thing to the"discounted
rate" therms as well. Trust broken, period.
100% agree with you. If they want leave it unsupported fine, but why
take away the functionality? Does not make sense, especially from a
consumer loyalty point of view. When the time comes, which will now be
soon, I'm changing mine to another brand.
I will be purchasing a different brand, for sure,as I prefer to have
phone access. I will not buy another Nest thermostat because precedent
has been sent that they will eventually turn it off from phone access
