Worked a charm 

I haven't updated my DNS though as not entirely sure how. 

No such luck for me so far. Waiting for talk talk to actually answer me but seems their chat is busy. Quite annoying this if i'm honest.My eero app shows the nest as connected but the nest it's self is just not complying either.

Have you had any progress with this? Currently having the same issue but nothing has seemed to have resolved it for me yet.

I've read on another thread it was due to an update done thurs/friday which lines up perfectly when mine stopped working. But will be contacting EERO now to see what the hell is going on.
