Linking to grid connect fails with this error.
404. That’s an error.
The requested URL was not found on this server. That’s all we know.
How do I get past this?

Hey IanSmith,
That certainly hasn't been easy for you — let's see what's going on.
Was it working before? Could you try reinstalling your Google Home and Grid connect app? Make sure your devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network and within 15-20 feet of your router. Also, try using a different phone to see if you'll get the same result.

thanks for replying.
i spoke to Arlec support and while they did not seem to get it it looks like something was reset and I had to re-register my Grid Connect registration.
then it all worked fine.
