Add device button not showing up

I got a nest mini a long time ago, when I had an account with a fake age. I linked the nest mini and everything was great. One day I decided to create a real account with the true age and then when I went to add the nest mini the "add device" button was not showing up at all as most of the buttons inside the + except music, video and podcasts. I finally went to my mother's phone and set it up from there. Someway the nest mini showed up in my home app when not in any home. 

Pls help......

Nvm, I tried it on the same device but on another profile and it work. The problem is that I am underage to create a home, making it unable for me to add new devices. Thanks for your help though

Hey BartoMel,

 

Thanks for reaching out — let's check this out. 

 

You can reset your Nest Mini to delete all accounts or data linked to it when your set it up using your fake account. Once it's back to its default settings, make sure your Google Home app is using the correct account that you're going to use on your Nest Mini. Reinstalling your Google Home app might help too.

The other account has been deleted a long time ago

Hey BartoMel,

 

Have you tried the suggested steps above? When you open the Google Home app what account is signed into? Also, if you're using an iOS device, make sure Local Network Access is turned on for the Google Home app.
