Can't get Nest to group 2 bulbs? Groups on Home & Assistant app, nest only recognizes one.. help?

I am LOSING my mind here.. I just purchased a new bulb as one out of 2 in the bedroom burnt out..
I wasn't able to find the same one so I got a different brand. Old one thats still working on one side is Smart Life and the other new one I just got is by Cync or C by GE Bulb.
Now, I've been able to connect it to Google Home and group the lights together, I've also been able to link them to assistant but when I ask my Nest to turn on/off Bedroom Lights, she only controls the old one that's by Smart Life.
I cannot get her to recognize the new one.. even though on the Home app, it indictates both are in one room and are, in fact, grouped together. For whatever reason she says it's not connected and to set it up through Google Assistant.
I have reset the router, I've unlinked and relinked MULTIPLE times, I really don't know what else to do, this is ridiculous.

Hello scotttravers,

Thanks for visiting the Community.

Please rename your Cync light bulb in the Google Home app. Here are the steps: open app > Tap the light bulb icon > Choose Settings > Select Name to edit > Save. Once done, ask your Google Home device, "Hey Google, sync my lights" and check if it's now working.

Keep me posted.

Best,
Lovely
