Can’t sign in

Every time I log into my nest account on the app it immediately takes me back to the login screen. I’ve even deleted and re-downloaded the app and I’m still having the same issue. Anyone else experiencing this?

Hey there Bencdavidson, 

Sorry to hear about the loop when you're trying to sign in, I'm sure that is frustrating, but I'm happy to look into this for you. 


If you completed the migration process already, you have to select "Sign in with Google" when logging in to the Nest App. Have you tried to log in using the web app? If not yet, please give it a try and let us know if the same issue persist. Here's how:

  1. Open Google Chrome.
  2. Click the 3 dots on top right corner and select Settings. 
  3. Hit Advanced. 
  4. Under Privacy and Security, go to Site Settings. 
  5. Under Site Setting, click on Cookies. 
  6. At the bottom of that page in the Allow section, add "" and save it.
  7. Go to
  8. Log in and select "Sign in with Google".
