Cant change password/log in due to old phone #. Can't seem to update phone number for nest.

Hi I have several new Nest products which I need to install, but I cannot log in because it asks for phone # verification and Nest currently has an old and inactive phone # on file.  My google phone number is up to date but I cannot find out how to update the nest phone # on file.

I have the same issue.  Surely there has got to be an alternative rather than resetting your entire account with a completely different e-Mail address just because we're unable to update our phone number.
