hello,
I recently bought the new Google Nest Cam (battery), and I'm experimenting with all the settings to see what is possible. In the Google Home app, I have a 'household routine' that switches the camera automatically on/off based on location sensing (Home/Away). Looks good (although I have the impression that the location sensing does not respond very well, but that is something different), but now I want to combine the following basic rules:
1. Turn on/off the camera when I'm Away/Home
2. Turn the camera on as of 23:00 even if status is set to Home ..
This looks like a very basic setup, but is this feasible? As I'm new to all of this home automation, do you advise to use a different application? (I've downloaded IFTTT, but that does not seem to work very well with Google devices).
Thanks,
Sebastiaan.

Hi,
Yes I would still like some help on this matter, but I reckon that the lack of response only shows that this basic logic in routines is not available? So you think you bought state-of-the-art equipment from Google, but then the software is not able to deal with IF THIS THEN THAT logic. Hope this will be sorted soon in the Google Home app, instead of releasing Halloween tunes for your doorbell ..
But of course, I could be wrong.

Sebastiaan.
