I have a new Google Wifi mesh system that I just set up. The first dozen devices set up nicely. However the last device does not show in the Google Home app. It is hard wired to an access point. It is connected as I am able to open a browser, type in the IP, and use it. It is not listed in either the active nor inactive devices. The problem is I need to use it remotely and it appears I can’t port manage without it being listed as an active device. Help please!

Hi Jeff,
I did not get it to work. The unit is not wifi, but connected by ethernet cable. The problem I think is that the IP address is http rather than https (it is an older unit) and Google Nest only accepts https IP's. Am I right?

Hi, Fertree.
This is something I would need to look into deeper. What is the device that you're trying to integrate that won't show?

Hi Jeff, The unit is a Digital Logger Web Power Switch 7 https://shop.rfwel.com/web_power_switch_7.html which is connected via cat cable and works properly. Because it is not recognized by the Nest, I cannot open it's port. Thank!

Hey, Fretree.
As an update for you, I wanted to let you know that we have a firmware update coming out now. Some people may have already received the update, but most will see it coming still. Everyone will have it before the end of April. If you receive that update and don't see an improvement in your issues here, please let me know and we can keep looking into things.
Thanks.
