I’m trying to setup a network (thermostat and smoke alarms) in a rental home we manage. But I cannot set it up under my home account - and the app won’t let me set up an account with our property management company email as it’s a Google Workspaces account. I don’t have a third email to use. Suggestions?

Thank you so much for reaching out to this community! I understand what you're experiencing while trying to set up a network of thermostat and smoke alarms in a rental property you manage. You can't complete the process in the Google Home app because you have a Google Workspace account.
While you can use your Google Workspace account in various Google apps and spaces, to access all available features in your country, you'll need to link a personal Gmail account. For detailed instructions, please refer to this article: Link a Google Workspace account to the Google Home app.

Thanks. I solved this by going through my browser on a laptop: Was able to add a second property, which then showed up on the app in my phone.
