Doorbell and thermostat not accessible on my home app but is fine on husbands phone

For the life of me I cannot figure this out and it’s been months!

On my husbands phone:

the nest doorbell and thermostat were reset and set up in the nest app. Then It was successfully added it to the Home app.  

Then added my own account as a family member to see the devices.

 

on my phone:

I can see the home and devices in my google home app but nothing in nest app.

When I click the doorbell, it says it’s offline.

when I click the thermostat, it says it was not set up properly.

why does it work for my husband but not for me?

The nest app is being migrated to the home app.

And when do we expect this to be done? It’s been months…

I think they would fix it by the first quarter next year.

Or you can delete everything and try again.

I’ve done that more times than you can imagine unfortunately and still not fixed

They are really good for phone patches and fixes. This migration may take a long time.

Yeah….. I am not holding my breath.. this is still and looking for an acceptable solution. What you’re saying is also not something that will definitively fix my issue .

turns out this was an issue with my email address being corrupted somehow during the migration process .. i shared with another new email and it seemed to have done the trick which is unfortunate because i would have preferred to use my main email.
