Google Home App is a steaming pile of crap.....

I seriously don't know how people deal with this buggy app. Every update seems to make things worse. Either my devices are offline even though they are connected or all of my routines go missing. The other day I had to setup all of my routines because this garbage app decided to reset everything. I am sick and tired of dealing with this trash ecosystem just to deal with Google's trash customer service. A multi billion dollar company and they can't get simple things down. Anybody just having issue after issue with Google's bs home ecosystem? I am seriously thinking about switching to either Alexa or Apple Homekit. Any suggestions?
