Hi everyone, looking for some help with this issue.
Yale door locks are not updating their status in Google home. Can be controlled providing they match the state of the physical locks. Butt if I unlock the lock manually, Google home for pixel does not show the lock change state. However the Yale up does. Any body facing this issue. Tried both Google support and Yale, both pretty much blame each other so I get no help.
So the issue here is that whatever Google home tells me the locks are doing can not be trusted. Becoming a slight security issue.

Also to note, locks work fine in my Google hub max. Can watch the locks change state on the hub when I physically lock or unlock the lock itself. And if that is open, google home in the pixel will update flawlessly. However, if the hub is not open, home on pixel will do nothing.

This is usually a sync issue between Yale and Google Home—Google only updates when it gets a state push from the Yale service. Try re-linking the Yale account in Google Home and check if firmware is updated on the lock/bridge. If it still doesn’t sync, it’s likely an integration delay/bug, so relying on the Yale app for status is safer for now.

Hey Mark.
Yes, I have done all those things. Seems to be somewhat cooperative at the moment pending a refresh on the lock screen but still can't be trusted. You are correct, the Yale app is the dependency at the moment. Just so annoying when things don't work flawlessly.
Booths sides are up to date with updates. Relinked account numerous times. Still pretty much the same.

Also, works spot on all the time everytime on my Google hubs. And if the hub is showing what the door locks are doing on screen, then the phone updates status immediately.
