Google home app? why is this consistently so bad?

omg, when is google going to fix the Google Home App, it is such a pain to use.  it might be the worst app i've used in a long time.  it is so counterintuitive.  I'm about to dump all my google products and figure out another solution just because of the horrible app. so clunky, cumbersome, hard to navigate and doesn't work sometimes, just spins and is thinking like when changing a Nest therm... .  such a mess.  Google, when?? please help.

I'm just saying in general, the app is terrible.  poorly designed.  we have Nest app and Google  home app, one of my cameras will only work on google home app..
