Google moved my home address AND street to another part of town.

My home address was not showing in the maps so I edited numerous times for 1.5 years. Never approved. Recently it was approved, but my address and street were moved to another part of town! Their street name has been replaced with mine. I have lived in this house for 23 years and the problem started a few years ago. Suddenly deliveries started getting lost. Now I can’t order anything, because it will go to this new location at somebody else’s house. I really need help!

@Brad, @janthadeus , or @Muddi :

As Google Nest Community Specialists, can one of you please escalate this issue within Google Nest?

Since Google has appointed itself as the worldwide provider of map and address, it has a responsibility to quickly correct errors in its address database when those errors have real-world consequences.

Thank you for trying to get help for me.

I find it hard to believe that Google Nest's Google Home app, thermostats, calendar schedules, and Nest Hubs are using a Google database that has inaccurate addresses and timezones for some customers and Google Nest refuses to accept any responsibility whatsoever for correcting those errors and instead says the only recourse is to post in another community forum and hope that a product expert from Google Maps notices the post and takes action.

Other customers in this forum have reported reaching out to Google Maps and getting no resolution.

If Google Nest is going to use Google Maps to assign timezones to us, then Google Nest should provide a mechanism for quickly and expeditiously correcting errors in Google Maps.

And the link you provided looks like it's for another community forum.  The community can't resolve this. It's an error in Google Map's database.
