How do I access my nest account when the original email address is no longer available?

How do I access my nest account when the original email address is no longer available? The security code is sent to he old email address, which I have no access too.  There was an old thread about logging into Google account and resetting something, but I'm not sure what that means.  I did not link to google account in the past.

I think this may be something Google Nest cannot resolve. Google Nest does not have any way of verifying your identity other than sending a code to your old email address; they don't know anything else about you, and they have no control over your old email provider.

It may be--as suggested on other threads in this forum--that your only recourse is to do a factory reset on all of your Google Nest devices and re-install them on a Google (gmail) Account, and hope that the re-installations go well.

You could try contacting Google Nest Support, starting with the link below. Perhaps if you are able to provide them with serial numbers of your Google Nest devices (or other identifying information), they can provide a way forward.
