I'm trying to set up routines and would like to get rid of the ones that I don't use. Specifically the ones that Google set up for me which I don't need like commuting from home routine. Can I delete it or at least modify it to be something else?

Hi Sally,

No you can not remove the ready-made routines that are shown within the Google Home app, sorry.

By default, ready-made Routines already have existing triggers that can’t be deleted. If you want to add an additional trigger you can.

This sucks! Why are we forced to use the &#$@#! premade routines? I cannot customize it to do what I want, nor can I delete it, nor can I change the triggers. WTF?

Hey there,

Sorry to hear about the frustrations you're feeling around the premade routines, I understand but I wanted to hop in to provide some clarification.

You can use the premade routines or you can create your own routine

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Best regards,

Garrett DS
