How do i get my Nest to work on my new phone

I got a new phone but the Nest app doesn't connect to my thermostats.  The actual device says it's already connected to an account.  Tried to reset the password but the email never came to me to complete the process.  How do I get Nest to work on my new phone?

You should be able to log into your Nest account on your new phone and view the connected devices from there. Have you maybe migrated your account to the Google Home App?  I would recommend double-checking the email you are using to sign in to your account. If you are still having trouble, please let me know.

I'm having the same problem.  It tells me I'm connected to an email I never use but won't let me change it. All I want is to access my cameras on this phone. What can I do to make 5his work?

Yes,  I need help.  Freezing and can't set nest in new phone.  Similarly no email arrived. Shouldn't be this difficult.
