How long a media alarm runs

When I run a media alarm it stops after 5 mins.

It is supposed to run for 10 mins.

I need it to run for the 10 mins of the 7am news.

Is it adjustable?

I understand you're wanting to have your media alarm set for a certain amount of time, and I can understand how that would be useful and am happy to help look into this for you.

Hi there, 

I understand your concern and am happy to take this feedback and pass it along. There is no information that talks about this setting being customizable to where you can set it for a specific amount of time unfortunately. That is a great idea though and am happy to take that as well and pass it forward as a feature request.

I have read the article and note that it says "Alarms will sound for 10 minutes if not stopped or snoozed."

But nowhere does it tell you if that length of time is user settable. That was my question.

So if you are able to look into this I would appreciate it.

As a test, I factory reset the hub to see if it would play alarms for the supposed 10mins rather than the 5 mins I was experiencing.

It now plays alarms for 60 mins. I am happier with this outcome because I get to hear all of the 7am news but nonetheless leaves me asking "how many other settings are randomly chosen"?
