I keep getting charged $50 annual subsciption renewal from Nest despite not having an active account

I've spent over an hour in the death spiral of communities, CSR chats and have made Zero progress.  UGGH. It apparently is being escalated but I'm not very optomistic.

Here's the issue: I was an OG Nest customer with auto renewal subsciripton.  Once Google Acquired Nest labs, I never migrated over to a Google account yet I closed the account.

However, somehow I keep getting charged annual renewals from Nest even though there is no active subscription tied to my Google account. It's almost as if Google continues to charge Nest customers without any way to cancel?

I'm going the disputed transaction route with my bank, but come on this is crazy that there is no way to cancel or access the original accounts from nest.

This could be a hassle, but cancel your credit credit with the card holder.  It certainly fixes the issue!

@MC9, thanks for posting in our Community. I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with the charges from Nest and for the delayed response here. I’d like to dig deeper into this. Could you tell us the case ID from the interaction with our support team so I can take a closer look?

Keep me posted.
