Lorex Camera not streaming in Nest Hub

The Lorex camera is not streaming on the Nest Hub or the Google Chromecast TV.  I can see the camera and stream on my iPhone through the google home app but when I try to pull up the camera on the Nest Hub all that comes up is a black screen that says Lorex Camera.  But no video.

Thanks for posting — let's check this out.

 

Was it working before? What's the exact command you've used to stream your camera to your Google Nest Hub or Chromecast with Google TV? What's the response of your Nest Hub? Make sure your devices are within 15-20 feet of your router and connected to the same network.

 

Reboot your Lorex Camera, Nest Hub, Chromecast with Google TV and router to refresh the connection. If the issue persists, resetting your Nest Hub might work too.

The command I use is “pull up (camera name) on (hub name).”  The hub says it is pulling up the camera and all that is displayed is a black screen with the words “Lorex camera”.   They are connected to the same network and I have tried restarting everything and disconnecting and reconnecting.  Nothing has worked.

Thanks for trying the steps. Let's go ahead and perform a complete reset on your Google Nest Hub and set it up again. Once done, we can check if you will still experience the same behavior.
