Nest App vs Google Home App w/Remote Sensor

BrianL99

I recently installed a Nest Learning Thermostat and now I'm adding a Nest "Remote Temperature Sensor.

I have it active on the Nest App, but can't figure out how to migrate it to the Google Home App?  Do I have to use (2) separate and distinct Apps, to manage my system?

Also, the Nest app doesn't allow you to select the active Temperature Sensor.  I found out how to set the "active" sensor, when I accidently found the setting, on the actual Thermostat.  It doesn't make sense that you can't adjust the "active sensor" from the App, but need to go to the Thermostat.  Is there something I'm missing?

No responses at all?  I can't believe others haven't faced this same issue?

Hey there,
Sorry for the late response, but I wanted to drop in here to help.

I understand that this can be confusing but I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help.

Just wanted to double check to see if you were still needing help on this? If so, what troubleshooting steps have you tried?

Please let me know.
