Hi there,
I recently connected to Nest Wi-Fi pro from Google Wi-Fi and I’m now trying to reconnect everything. I had all cameras, protects, thermostat connected to the Nest and Home apps but now I can’t set-up the Nest app to connect the thermostat. I log into the account but it continuously asks me to add a home when there’s one already there.
It tells me to add an address which I do, then asks me to add location which I do. I then have the nest screen with the home address at the top and messages etc below then when I hit + to add a product it then takes me to the home set-up screen.
I’ve tried deleting the app and starting again but keeps happening and it’s the same if I try on desktop..
Very frustrating any support appreciated!
Thanks!

Google Nest does not have a good process for updating Wi-Fi settings on many of its devices, so their first recommendation when getting a new Wi-Fi router/modem is to set the network name (SSID) and password to the same values used on your old Wi-Fi router/ modem:

Hi folks,
Checking in — were you able to change your Wi-Fi network to its old settings? If so, how did it go? Let me know if you need anything else.
I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.
Thanks,
JT

Hi there,
I ended up speaking to someone at Google, I had to delete all apps, factory reset all devices and then create a new home. Took a few hours but got there in the end.
Thanks all
