Routines and Do Not Disturb

Hollywired

Hello, All.  I have a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra running Android 12.  For some time, I have used a very simple Routine on Google Home app that included setting my phone to Do Not Disturb.  This always worked until just a few months ago.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, I've rebuilt the Routine from scratch.  When I run the Routine, Google Assistant says it is "turning on Do Not Disturb," but it actually does not do it.  Any advise?  Thanks so much.  Hope you're all having a great New Year so far.

I have the same problem. Updated my galaxy S20 to Android 12 yesterday, and the routine with do not disturb mode is not doing anything on my phone. While the assistent says it is turning it on...it worked fine with android 11.

+1 for me.  Also Galaxy S20.  Issue may have started after recent upgrade to Android 12.  Very frustrating.

Hey there,

Sorry to hear about the frustrations that you're having with the Google Assistant, I'm happy to help.

I would suggest visiting our Google Assistant Forum and writing to them there as this is a question that they would be able to help answer.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Best regards,

Garrett DS

Thanks.  I've had two other Users agree that they are experiencing the same problem and one User suggest I post this in a different forum, which I've done with no response there.  Problem persists.  Thanks so much for any insights.  Have a great day.
