Setting Google home to home

I have a number of Google home minis and lights other devices all networked up to my Google home account, when I walk 50 meters away from my home, Google sets my Google home status to away, I have it set in my Google home as set that when I come within 20 meters to set my Google home status to home, which it never does. So when I enter my property I tell my Google minis that I am home, my lights come on, then my Google minis ask, do I want to say my Google home to home, which when I reply to yes, it never understands, and replies, sorry I don't understand do you wish to set you home to home.

It repeats this 2 or 3 times. It is starting to get very annoying. Can someone please help in how to resolve this issue.
