I bought a couple of google nests last month and linked spotify to them .. they both worked ! HAPPY DAYS .. On Sunday, spotify suddenly decided to unlink itself .. and I can't, for love, nor money, link it again !!! I've done a factory reset, switched it off and on at the wall. left it unplugged overnight. but the darn thing just will not link again. I looked online and it seems a whole lot of folks seem to have the same problem but I cant find anyone who has rectified it yet and I also cant find a way to get in touch with anyone to get a fault document/ code so I can return the darn thing back to BT. I bought them specifically to listen to my spotify tracks so they are useless really. I'll just go back to my old amazon Alexa ones ..

Yes as Azarco said uninstall Spotify , link Spotify then reinstall Spotify .
A nuicense because you lose your offline content but it does fix the issue
