Hi Jaison,

A Google Home or Google Nest speaker or display determines its timezone from the address you have inputted. Please have a look at the Google Nest help center link below for more information about changing the device address.

So I have my correct address entered but the Google Home app thinks I'm in Mountain time zone which I'm not; I'm in Central. Advice?

Hey there,
Sorry for the late response, but I wanted to drop in here to help.

I understand that this can be confusing but I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help.

Just wanted to double check to see if you were still needing help on this? If so, what troubleshooting steps have you tried?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,
Garrett DS

Thanks for getting back. We (a friend of mine and my house) are located on the east side of the Missouri River (Central Time), and for all of our Google home setups, and using our actual addresses, it gives all of our displays and audio feedback as Mountain Time. All of our attempts to fix haven't worked, except for giving it a bogus address across town (Pierre). Any ideas?

Suggestions from Google walk you through selecting a Chromecast device, gear icon, etc., which I don't have a Chromecast device. Other help on Reddit indicates going into Settings within the Google Home app, select More Settings (which I don't have as an option).

Any help would be appreciate. My guess is that Google must have the time zone border in the wrong place..
