Unable to delete and unlink an old device

Hi, hoping someone can help as I’ve been searching for an answer for over a year.

I purchased a TV 3 years ago and didn’t unlink it from the google home app when I sold it.  As such, it’s still linked in the home app but because I can’t access the tv anymore, and because it’s not sitting in a “room” in GH or connected on the same wifi I can’t move or, delete it.

I have unlinked it from my devices in my main google account but that hasn’t removed to from GH.  It’s just sitting in the “linked to you” section of GH.

Please Help.

Ok, unhelpful update:  Reset and delete my Google Home then download again, setup and retype another 26 Routines, link another 23 devices, link to another 7 third-party providers, setup another 8 rooms, another 5 presence sensing activities, google pay, payment instructions, tell my family to delete their profiles from Google Home, then readd them later, add my families back to Google Home, change device permissions for certain family members then remember over 8 different passwords to log back in to my external device managers.  All this for one unlinked device and no workaround by the home automation specialists???  Really!!!  Time to try Alexa I think.
