Despite my google home devices and the google app both controlling my Lidl smart bulbs (via a zigbee gateway) for the last 6 months this is no longer the case despite being linked etc. E.g. when I ask my google home devices to say turn the lights off I get an acknowledgment sound but nothing happens, likewise in the app I can move the dimming slider but nothing happens and it ‘springs back’. I have switched the gateway off and back on and de-linked and re-linked the Lidl Home app but this has not solved it?

Hello Nick C.

Sorry for my late response. Thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I just wanted to make sure that your issue is addressed. I would make sure restart your phone, make sure it is up to date and that the app firmware is updated. If you are having issues with a previously working device its possible that they are behind in firmware when the app is updated, and it may not work best. Try to reinstall your devices.
