google home app no longer shows heat balance settings

Just now updated Google Home app to vers 3.29.103. I can now no long see the heat pump  balance settings under temperature preferences. Nothing was changed on Nest Thermostat or wiring. It worked fine on app version I had previously.

Thanks for your reply. 

• The thermostat is question a "Nest Thermostat (2020)" (model number G4CVZ).
• The thermostat is working fine, although I cannot change the heat pump balance setting, which would be helpful.
• I don't know how to send you a photo in this forum. Wires are connected as follows, yellow to Y terminal, blue to C, white to W, green to G, red to R, orange to *OB.

I really appreciate your information shared. To ensure I'm on the same page, could you please confirm if you tried to check the heat pump balance settings by following these steps:

• Open the Google Home app Google Home app
• Tap Favorites or Devices .
• Select your thermostat Temperature Preferences.
• Select a Heat Pump Balance setting.

Hi Jonathan,

Yes, I did the steps you describe--except when I open temperature preferences there is no option shown for heat pump balance settings. This option was present before I updated the Google Home app.

Thanks for the update.

To continue assisting you, a screenshot of what you see on the Google Home app would be really helpful. You can upload the picture by clicking on the "camera icon" before sending the reply. Also, please share a picture of your wiring information. You can get that information by following these steps:

• Press the thermostat ring to bring up the Quick View menu.
• Turn the ring to Settings and press to select.
• Turn the ring to Technical Info and press to select > Equipment.

This shows which terminals on the Nest thermostat base have wires in them, based on the physical position of the terminal button.
