not able to log into my google home account

I've never had a problem with the app before, but randomly today, i tried to launch the app and it went to the "Get Started" screen- and then as I tried to log in with my account email, it then gave me an error saying I "do not have access to this service" and I can't find exactly where to enable the "service"? Has anyone experienced this?

so just an update- i am able to access my camera devices if i log in via the desktop/web app- so i'm not sure why i can't do it through the mobile app anymore. if anyone has any suggestions?

To better assist you with accurate information, I’d like to confirm the following:

  • Can you please confirm if you have the latest version of the Google Home app, which is 3.40?
  • Have you tried clearing the cache and data for the Google Home app on your mobile device?
  • Have you tried opening the Google Home app on a different mobile device?

Hi Melany thank you so much for your response! Yes, I’m using the latest version - I’m on an iPhone using ios26 and I deleted the app and reinstalled. Once I input my email, it then goes to the screen that says I don’t have access and that I need to go into my admin console to enable it- when I log into my admin console, I don’t see any options to enable the google home app. Everything was working fine before and suddenly I don’t understand what changed that I now don’t have access. And yes, when I log in via the web app- I can see my camera devices but don’t see my thermostat. Any help or ideas or would so appreciated 

I did try logging into via my iPad and it gave me an error saying “unexpected response from server” and can’t go further from there
