remove a home from the nest app

I am trying to delete a home in my Nest app.  This Home does not show in the Home app. I understand can only delete homes in the Home app.

So how to delete a home not shown in the Home app, but which exists in the Nest app??

Thanks for contacting this community! I understand that you're trying to delete a home in the Nest app, but this home does not show in the Google Home app. No worries, I'm here to help you!

Regarding your experience with the Nest app, you can delete a Home Structure in the following way:

• Open the Nest app Nest app.
• At the top left, tap Menu.
• Select the home that you want to remove.
• At the top right corner, tap Settings > Home info > Leave home > Leave.

Actually, I have already tried this many times, deleted the home I want to delete. When I look at my total number of homes, the home I deleted is gone.

However, when I restart my phone and go back into the Nest app, the home I deleted is back!!

I believe I read one place that a home can only be deleted from the Home app???

Thank you for the information you've provided. I understand that you've tried many times and that it gets deleted, but when you restart your phone and open the Nest app, the home structure is still there.

For that reason, I'd like you to verify the following information:

• Are you using the same email address for both the Nest app and the Google Home app? If so, you can try to remove the home structure in the Google Home app in the following way:
  • Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  • If you have more than one home, tap Favorites .
  • At the top, tap the down arrow .
  • Select the home you want to edit.
  • Tap Settings Settings.
  • Scroll to the bottom and then Delete this home .
  • Tap Delete home.
• Check that you have the latest version of both the Nest app and the Google Home app. Also, make sure the device you're using has the latest software version.

Thanks again for commenting.

Again, the issue is that the Nest app has 5 homes and the Home app has 4 homes. The 5th home does not show in the home app, and therefore can't be deleted.

I am using same Gmail address in both applications and the latest applications. Additionally, I am using a pixel 7a phone with latest Android.

Also, I have logged into the web versions of both applications and the issue is the same!
