I have the 2nd gen indoor outdoor battery cam, I have 3 that I purchased from Costco, I decided I didn't want to get on a ladder every time they needed charged so I purchased the extra long power cords with adapters so I could plug them in... The problem is 1 or 2 of them occasionally are saying low battery so I have to get the ladder out and bring them inside take them off the magnetic bases and charge them. I'm very disappointed. Is anyone else having these issues or is it just me?
Thanks, Larry

Hello, I'm an end user like you. By any chance do you live in a cold climate? There is a known issue with some models that they don't charge properly under a certain temperature.
Here is the article...

We've had a battery camera plugged in with the optional power cable since Sept. 2021 and it's been "Live" and online continuously through two Minnesota winters (as cold as -20 degrees Fahrenheit) and summers as hot as 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
If you go to Settings | Battery for each of your cameras, it should say "Plugged in" with an infinity symbol. Once in awhile I've unplugged ours to check the battery level and it's always been between 77% and 100%. When the cameras are plugged in, they should be running on household current and not using the battery at all.
Was your camera plugged in during the install process, or did you install them later? If you installed them later, you may have to remove your cameras from the Google Home app, do a factory reset, and reinstall them while they are plugged in, so that during the install process the cameras recognize that they are plugged in and NOT running on battery power.
There have been a few other posts in this forum where users had to reinstall their cameras because they were not recognizing they were plugged in and should be running on household current.

I will try doing the factory reset and see if that rectifies the problem. When I 1st installed them they were on battery, and about a week later I decided to get the 10 meter cords with adapters so they would run on household electricity. Thanks for the advice.

Remove the cameras from the Google Home app first; otherwise you could have problems reinstalling. It's a pain, but unfortunately there's no other way to reset the cameras so they know they are plugged in.
