3rd party automatic camera recording with google home

Hi 

I plan to buy a non-google camera from a 3rd party supplier whose device has the label "works with google home". I also have a google drive. 

Can I use google home to automatically record events as fotos or videos, and send them immediately to my google drive or email or phone local memory?

Does this also work when I am outside the home network, so for example connected with 4G?

Hi Sokodoku,

Google Nest cameras use the Nest Aware subscription service for saving video and events from their cameras and not Google drive.

You would need to contact the manufacturer of the cameras for more information about what features they have.
