Installed Nest Hello, just fine. But it’s not notifying the NuTone chime LA600WH. Should I connect the diode that was provided by the NuTone chime, to the back of the Nest doorbell/camera ?

Hi, May 5849.

Sorry for my late response. Thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I just wanted to make sure that your issue is addressed. I have never heard of this brand of chime, so I cannot tell you for sure if it is compatible. We suggest using the Nest Chime connector if you can. However, you can check out this article to learn more. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Clearly response was not given to the issue as the article doesn't mention diode anywhere

I have the same problem and do not see any solutions posted. I would rather not go out and buy a new chime. I like the sounds of the chime I have.
