I have had the battery doorbell for 8 months now and I find I am constantly having to charge it. It never lasts more than a week. I originally put it down to the cold weather and number of events recorded but even with selecting all the options to save battery life and reducing the zone to only record when someone is right at the doorbell it still doesn't last. I even went to the extreme of turning off motion recording all together and only recording when the doorbell was pressed. From full charge, in mild/warm weather with the doorbell being pressed only once and no other events being recorded it still didn't last a week! Considering the price and the advertised battery life it's really disappointing.

Hi there,
Sorry to hear about that. I would suggest trying the steps out in this article on how to Save battery for Nest cameras and doorbells. Also, I would recommend to reach out to our Google Support team to check further.
