Can't use Chromecast?

Kind-of odd that you can't Chromecast a Nest Cam (Battery). Is Chromecast being phased out, or is this a planned feature that will hopefully come soon? I'm a big fan of Google Products, and this is just disappointing.

Nest outdoor camera (wired) green light is off.
