I have a very odd issue. I have 3 Nest Cam batteries set up around my home, and scrolling through the history, a good half of the videos start at the *exact* time a bird chirps. It will detect people, but by the time the clip starts, they will be halfway in the frame, and the clip starts with a chirp. Same issue, all three cameras.
Is this an audio artefact that I can ignore, or are the cameras actually triggered by audio?

Hi BasG,
Thanks for reaching out. Yes, there is a sound setting that triggers an event on your Nest Cam (battery). To change detection settings:
1. Open the Google Home app .
2. Tap your camera or doorbell.
3. Tap Settings Event.
You can also check this article on How Nest cameras detect sound and motion for more info.

Steve

I followed the steps, no change. Mine are not plugged in.
It seems to be an audio artifact. The chirp is also persistent when I am skipping to an event at night, when there are no birds.
All cameras, multiple devices. Tried it on two iphone 13pro’s, several different ipads. Same result.
About 30% of the time skipping through the timeline of a camera from event to event, it starts off with a very loud chirp.

No change, Steve. Still get the chirp when I scroll through the time line.
