Bought a older camera through walmart

I bought a camera through walmarts website that was in generic packaging. Set it up, added it to my Nest account and everything is going well. My question is, does the previous owner still have access to the camera and video?  or how can I check to make sure this camera was reset properly?

You should be fine.  To the best of my knowledge when the camera is RESET to factory setting it disconnects it from the account holder.   When you installed it, had it would have given you a message that said something like "This devices is registered to another account".  Since it did not do that you should be good to go.

If the previous owner hadn't previously removed the camera from their account, you would NOT have been able to set it up on your account.
